Finding Inspirational Music for your Playlist

Finding inspirational music for your Playlist can vary for everyone, as different music inspires each of us, but here are some tips that might help in your research to discover the right music for you:

  1. Explore different genres: This is key! Look beyond your usual musical preferences. Different genres, such as classical, gospel, folk, rock, pop, or electronic, might be just what you need.

  2. Browse the different top Spotify/Apple/YouTube playlists in each of these genres and skip through songs until you find something that resonates with you.

  3. Seek out motivational or uplifting playlists: Look for playlists specifically curated to include motivational or inspirational songs. These playlists often feature songs that evoke positive emotions, deliver empowering messages, or have uplifting melodies.

  4. Follow artists or bands known for inspirational music: Once you find a song that inspires you, look up the artist and peruse their discography. They're likely to have more than one song that'll connect with you on a deep emotional level.

  5. Engage with online communities: Join online music communities or forums where people share and discuss inspirational music. You can ask for recommendations, participate in discussions, and learn about new artists or songs from like-minded individuals.

  6. Movie soundtracks and instrumental music: Consider exploring movie soundtracks and instrumental music, as they can often evoke emotions and inspiration without relying on lyrics. This is where I've personally found the majority of my inspirational music.

  7. Personal recommendations: Don't hesitate to ask friends, family, or colleagues for recommendations. They may have songs or artists in mind that have inspired them and could resonate with you as well.

There are many ways to find these songs, but it's important to start looking. Every time you find a solid song, add it immediately to your playlist. You never know when you might need to hear it.

Keep on listening to that music!
